Kevin Easton, Executive Director,
joined Equity Foundation in April 2008. Easton’s career has spanned the corporate, public, and nonprofit sectors. He brings nearly 15 years of rich experience as a campaign strategist and manager, on broad-ranging topics including human rights, education, business, arts, political candidacy, and sexual and gender minority issues. His Oregon experience extends geographically to every corner of the state, having served members of Congress and earlier as a grassroots activist. Easton, a native Oregonian, grew up in Bend and graduated with a B.A. with Friars Honors from the University of Oregon, in Eugene.

| Joey Kerns, Work Place Givings and Grants Coordinator,
has been in the development field at Topeka AIDS Project in Topeka, Kansas and recently at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland. Born and raised in eastern Kansas, Joey received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in Sociology and Religious Studies. Joey and his partner moved to Portland in 2005. They are frequently seen walking their Chihuahua Elton around the Irvington Neighborhood.

| Alan Colley, Development Coordinator
Alan brings to Equity Foundation years of experience, building relationships and consulting to help corporate America build strategies, implement programs and create places to work that attracted and supported the best people with such companies as Herman Miller, Inc., Interface Corporation and national and regional architectural design firms. A born-and-bred Midwesterner, Alan graduated from the University of Cincinnati, with a B.S. in Design.
In addition to his business career, he has dedicated a considerable part of the past twelve years to growing the Human Rights Campaign both in Dallas, Texas and in Portland, Oregon.
Alan and his partner moved to Portland in 2005 to live where their hearts called home. Alan’s passion for the land, vision and culture of the Pacific Northwest and the strong commitment to community-building in Oregon led him to Equity Foundation.

| Stephanie Ryznar, Scholarships and Operations Coordinator
is extremely excited to work for such an honorable and reputable part of the community. She has previously held post with the Office of Mayor Tom Potter, where she worked on constituent advocacy issues as well as local business concerns.
She is currently attending Portland State University with a major in International Studies and a minor in Russian. She plays classical piano, enjoys sewing, frequents Washington Park, is a member of the Pittock Mansion Society, and is constantly reading.
